Workflow Checklist
This checklist describes how
we will work together to complete your direct mail or fulfillment
project. Feel free to contact us
if you have any additional questions.
Step
One: Do you have a mailing list? Yes or
No
Yes:
E-mail,
FTP or mail
it on disk, tape, CD, zip disk via USPS. We can work with
almost any format including Excel, Dbase, Paradox, FoxPro,
Access, and many others. Go to Step Two.
No: Please
complete our Mailing List Count/Quote
Request Form after you complete this checklist. Within
24 hours you will have a count of prospects who meet your
criteria as well as a price for the list. Go
to Step Two.
Step
Two: Have you printed your mail piece(s)? Yes
or No
Yes: Continue
to Step Three.
No: Ask
us for an estimate for printing costs by completing our Printing
Services Quote Request Form after you complete this checklist.
Within 24 hours you will have an estimate of printing costs
for your direct mail project. We can accept your artwork via
the electronic media that best suits your needs: E-mail,
FTP or mail
it on disk, tape, CD, zip disk via USPS. Go
to Step Three.
Step
Three: Have you shipped your mail piece(s) to us? Yes
or No
Yes: Continue
to Step Four.
No: If your
mailers are being printed elsewhere, they will need to be
shipped to us. Normally, this means having your printer ship
directly to our shipping
location. If you are located in the Milwaukee metro area,
we can also arrange for pick up. Go to Step
Four.
Note: We can usually process
all jobs of 100,000 pieces or less within 48 hours, and up
to 500,000 pieces within 72 hours. Please call us for turnaround
times on larger jobs.
Step
Four: Have you received an estimate for mailing services?
Yes or No
Yes: Continue
to Step Five.
No: To receive
an estimate for your mailing, complete our Mailing
Services Quote Request Form online, or print it out and
fax or mail it to us, after you complete this checklist. Don't
hesitate to contact Client Services
to speak with a project coordinator about your project. Go
to Step Five.
Step
Five: Does Proven Direct have your address list? Yes
or No
Yes: Continue
to Step Six.
No: We will
process your address list on our computers. This will CASS
Certify and presort your list, making it eligible for the
lowest postage rates. At this point, we can provide you with
an exact postage amount. We will need to collect this amount
prior to delivering your mailing to the Post Office (unless
you are using your own permit, in which case you should deposit
adequate funds in your permit account prior to mailing). Go
to Step Six.
Step
Six: Is your project being mailed by the USPS? Yes
or No
Yes: When
your mailing is delivered to the Post Office we will fax you
a copy of postal report 3602 showing the exact postage amount
as well as number of pieces mailed. We will also give the
Post Office a copy of the 3602 which they will date stamp
and return to you as verification that the mailing was processed.
All fees for services are invoiced with net 30-day terms.
