Guidelines
- When lasering on shells, printer should allow a minimum
72-hour dry time before it is packaged for shipment.
- Allow 48 hours "open time", at Proven Direct
for paper acclimation.
- Immediate printing on UV cured inks only.
- No more than 30% dot coverage if laser is printing over
color.
- All inks and coatings must be laser compatible.
- Keep anti-offset spray to a minimum.
- C1S ideal in order to laser on uncoated side.
- Many Matte and Dull coated papers work but should be
tested first.
- Maximum paper weight is 80lb. cover.
Disclaimer: Due to inadequate ink curing process
on preprinted stocks, there is a chance that the rollers can
be damaged during the laser printing process. In these instances,
the client will be responsible for the $500 replacement cost
for new rollers.
